Today our PM crew celebrated Earth Day.  We spent most of the day painting, drawing, writing, and putting all the pieces together. We also worked on a Welcome to Kindergarten video where we share what Kindergarten looks like for the kids next year coming into Kindergarten.  

Monday is ORANGE SHIRT DAY and our PM crew will get to participate in their first school assembly. 

 This morning our Rock Star was Cruz.  Cruz loves to go to the beach in the Okanagan. He likes to play in the water and play on the warm sand.

In the afternoon our Rock Star was Teigan.  Teigan likes to go to BC and play in nature, especially when she gets to look for seashells in the ocean and take an airplane.

TODAY WAS SUPER HERO DAY AND WE HAD A SUPER INCREDIBLE DAY!

 This morning our Rock Star was Maddie.  Maddie likes to play at the park.

This afternoon our Rock Star was Skylar.  Skylar likes to play around the trees.

WOW!  We worked on some TOP SECRET things today so there will be no info OR pictures to share with you but you will see everything soon.

Just a friendly reminder that tomorrow is Superhero/Princess Day.  

 This morning our Rock Star was Quentin.  Quentin likes to spend lots of time outside at the park and climbing high!

In the PM our Rock Star was Sawyer.  Sawyer likes to go to Fish Creek Park. In the winter she likes to be in the snow and in the summer she likes to play with her family and get some pictures with deer.

Today was a VERY BUSY DAY.  We had class pictures taken and individual pictures were taken as well.  We made sure to have our best smiles on our face.

With our two sets of pictures, PE for our PM crew and Music for our AM crew, we had just enough time to do our Welcome Calendar, poem, and welcome message.

 This morning our Rock Star was Parker.  Parker likes to go to Gull Lake, Alberta.  This place is special to him because his family camps here every year.  Some of his favorite things to do here are play in the lake, build sandcastles, play at the park, go for bike rides, and go fishing with my Papa.  

This afternoon our Rock Star was Hollie.  Hollie likes to play outside in the snow on her dad's snowmobile. 

Today we spent time really thinking about what we know about the Praying Mantis and what we wonder about.

 Today our Rock Star was Lexi. Lexi's favorite outdoor space is the backyard at grandma's and papa's. There is a playhouse for her and her sisters. Lots of room to play soccer and with the pool in the summer.

Today was all about Earth Day!! We did get to start the day with iPads.

We drew a picture of the Lorax.

We painted a background. While the paint was drying we went to PE and practiced our basketball skills.

When we came back we wrote inside our Lorax.

Then we started to put everything together.

Cutting out the trees was really fun.

TA-DA!! This page had lots of different pieces to it but we LOVE the way it turned out!
