Today we also had Cruz from the AM share his Rock Star info.  Together Cruz and Evan did the calendar and answered questions.

Today was our first Sports Day since Covid and the kids all had a blast going around to different stations.

We need a baby photo of each student for our Graduation Slideshow!  Please drop a picture of your child as a baby in the Google Classroom folder labeled "Baby Photos". The deadline to get this in the slideshow will be June 10.

* Where has the year gone? I can hardly believe that we are about to enter the last school month of the year.   We will be celebrating the year and these kinders moving up to Grade 1 on June 16th in the gym, I hope to see you there! Grandparents and/or siblings are welcome to attend.

Our Last Full Week of School will have a fun activity/celebration that is unique to each day.  You can dress up to help us celebrate as we complete our first year of school.

 This morning our Rock Star was Cruz.  We had a Fire Drill in the middle of his presentation so he will present again tomorrow.  

In the afternoon we celebrated our Birthday Girl Aubrey.  Happy Birthday Aubrey!!!!

Today was another busy day.  Our AM friends had a fire drill and library.  Our PM friends had music. Both classes worked on the slide show for our Kinder celebration.  We also finished our last sacred teaching page about the turtle.  During the day we have been meeting up with Mrs. Hughes class to practice our songs for our Kindergarten Celebration on the 16th!  I can't believe that it is that time of the year already.  

Just a reminder that tomorrow is Sports Day and ALL Kindergarten students are welcome!!  Just come in at the normal time in the normal doors.  We are excited to have all our friends together.

 This morning our Rock Star was Aleah.  Aleah loves to swim, go down the water slides, play on the beach and go for boat rides. Although her very favourite part is picking out the bathing suits and outfits to go!

This afternooon our Rock Star was Teigan. Teigan loves camping all summer and her favorite part is swimming!! She has also really enjoyed our family trips this year, her favorite memories have been the boat ride at Niagara Falls, and going to the top of the CN Tower in Toronto to see the beautiful view and the sunset.

Today we learned about the last sacred teaching.  The turtle represents truth and living with all the six sacred teachings every day.  

In our assembly today Chloe represented Kindergarten and sharing about the beaver and wisdom.

Today in our Journal we did our BEST writing all year!!!  We wrote about which animal we think represents us the best.

Attention AM Parents 

Friday is Sports Day.  This is a PM Friday.  AM students are welcome to participate in this day as well.  It is an optional day for AM students.   If you choose for your AM child to attend, please arrange to drop off and pick up as normal and they will join my PM class for the day.  Parents are welcome to attend IF they have completed the CBE volunteer forms at the office and are fully cleared.
