Today we were busy learning all about the letters X and Y. Both classes also had fun in PE. On Mondays we have sensory bins to start the day and they are always a favourite with the kids, especially after a time change. Before Christmas I had all the students writing their name properly with upper and lowercase letters. Over the last month I have noticed a lot of children going back to all uppercase. Today I worked one on one with each child to practice printing their names again. I know we will fix this skill quickly because they already had it and just need a few reminders.
