HAPPY ST. Patrick's Day from the Kindergarten team!
HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!!! From Rockin' Room 136!!!!!
This morning our Rock Star was Greer. Greer loves the story, The Book with No Pictures. Her favourite part is when the book says Boo Boo Butt. Which is a pretty amazing line. haha
In the afternoon our Rock Star was Stephanie. Stephanie's favorite book is The Home Team Calgary Flames. It is about my favorite hockey team and kids who want to grow up and for the Calgary Flames. My favorite part is when Owen scores his first goal. He practices really hard just like the Flames.
Today we did a guided drawing of a leprechaun and coloured it in with pencil crayons then we did a guided drawing of a pot of gold and a rainbow and coloured it in using oil pastels. Finally, we painted over our oil pastels for the sky with some magic paint. At the end Mrs. Hellyer added some gold sparkles to our pot of gold because sparkles are awesome!!
We used our toys to sort the colours and make a rainbow. It was SUPER beautiful and the perfect way to end our St. Patrick's Day celebrations!!
