This morning our Rock Star was Madelyn.  Madelyn likes to play in her room with her stuffies.

This afternoon Evan was our Rock Star.  Evan shared a video of him practicing on his snowboard.  Since there is no snow he was showing us his skills on his carpet. 

Today we learned the sound C/K which means that we also learned two letters. C and K.

Tomorrow is Orange Shirt Day as we focus on our second sacred teaching: Humility

 This morning our Rock Star was Keira. One of Keira’s favourite activities is her diving lessons. She goes every week and loves to jump, tuck and dive off of the springboards and platforms. She loves diving because it makes her happy and she feels like a dragon when she can jump really far.

In the afternoon our Rock Star was Olivia. Olivia likes to draw, play outside and play inside with her brother and cousin.

Our journal today was reviewing all the ways we learned about how we show respect to other people.  On Wednesday we will start another Sacred Teaching.  This one will be about Humility.  Please wear Orange on Wednesday.

Pumpkin Jack looks a lot more like Pumpkin Santa these days.  The kids are always so excited on Monday to look at our experiment and how the pumpkin changed over the weekend.

An email was sent home today with some important dates.  I have attached a copy of the email to the blog today. (Some AM kids did not get their Raz Kids info.  They can get the tomorrow)

 

 This morning our Rock Star was Greyson.  Greyson loves to play hockey. He really likes to play hockey games and he likes to shoot goals into the net with his stick. 

Krish likes to go outside. He likes climbing, jumping, swinging, sliding. He always enjoys all rides in the park.

Today was all about patterns and pjs!

We read the story, Marvin Mouse is Hungry.

Then we made our own patterns.

We had a blast painting patterns.

Just a reminder that there is no school tomorrow but I will meet you online for our Virtual Conferences.

 This morning our Rock Star was Parker.  Parker loves to go to Hitman Games.  He really looks forward to going with his brothers. He likes to get his face painted and cheer on the players with Farley. We also watched a video of Parker playing hockey and scoring LOTS of goals!  

In the afternoon our Rock Star was Morgan.  Morgan shared a picture of the first time she rode her big girl bike. She likes to ride her bike because her dad sometimes makes ramps and she likes to go up the ramps.

We had some fun with patterns today.

Just a friendly reminder that tomorrow is PJ Day.  Please leave all stuffies and slippers at home.  

**Tomorrow an important package will be sent home with school pictures, an updated assessment and some other goodies to help prepare for our parent teacher conferences**

 In the afternoon our Rock Star was Decker. Decker loves to go ice fishing with his dad in the winter. This is him catching a Walleye.

 This morning our Rock Star was Raiden. Everyone was very excited to see this picture.  Raiden shared that he likes to play Mario Delux on his Nintendo. Raiden likes all the secrets in this game.

We are learning the Seven Sacred Teachings. This month our school is focusing on Respect. Today we learned about Respect and the Teaching of the Buffalo.
