 Today we celebrated some Winter Holiday Birthdays.  This morning our Birthday Rock Star was Faisal.  Happy Birthday Faisal.  We hope that you have a fantastic birthday.

This afternoon our Birthday Rock Star was Owen.  Happy Birthday Owen.  We hope you have a magical birthday.

We had such a good week celebrating each and every day. Today is our PM crews last day before break. 

 This morning our Rock Star was Sophia.  Sophia would like to share about our family's Christmas Elves Legolas, Tauriel & Gimli who come every year in December. They are special because they are magic and also do a lot of funny things.

In the afternoon our Rock Star was Owen. He celebrates Chinese Near Year. It is 14 days long and is usually at the end of January or the beginning of February. It's special because it's a time to reunite with family members by having a party with lots of delicious food (before COVID). We decorate our house with decorations that are red and put up spring couplets or poems. We wear red and/or gold because it represents good luck. One of Owen's favourite parts of celebrating Chinese New Year is receiving red envelopes with money in them called a "Hong Bao" from his parents, aunties, uncles, and grandparents. After receiving the red envelopes, Owen say, "Gong Xi Fat Cai" which means Happy New Year.

Today was SUPER BUSY. We finished our TOP SECRET thing PLUS we recorded our TOP SECRET Video. :)

Tomorrow is Red and Green Day! For our PM Crew tomorrow will be your last day of school before the break.

 This morning our Rock Star was Cruz. Each Christmas Season my family and I buy a lego Christmas house. We build them together and set up our LEGO village with all the other Christmas buildings we have built and collected in past years. I love this tradition because we set up our Christmas LEGO village in our living room and my brother and I play with it all. It’s magical.

This afternoon our Rock Star was Aubrey.  Aubrey has a family tradition where she goes to her Nana's house to decorate cookies.  Her favourite cookie to decorate is the angel because it is the nicest one. 

Today we finished decorating our Door it is two-sided. :)

We also worked hard on a top-secret Christmas gift.  That is all I will say :)

Pumpkin Jack in week 6 is looking rather rough while our full pumpkin is still going strong.
