Day 69

 Hello Students and Parents,

I would like to take this time to say thank you for such an amazing five weeks. I could not have asked for a better group of students than the 33 students I had. Although my time with these groups was short, I was able to laugh, sing, create, and grow with them! I am so grateful for this experience! The personalities in these groups and their brilliant minds gave me the courage to try new things with them and laugh when things did not go exactly as planned. I will forever remember these students and the experiences we had together.

Over the last few days, I received so many kind notes about how much your child appreciated having me in the classroom and my heart could not be fuller. Thank you all for thinking of me around the holidays and being so kind to me during this strange time!

I hope you all have a great winter break and wish you all the best in the new year!

Miss. Dansereau

Thank you for such a wonderful first part of the school year.  Your children bring a smile to my face every single day.  I hope that you all enjoy some much deserved rest and you are able to enjoy your family and make some new memories over the next two weeks.  See you in 2021!!!!

Day 68

These Kinder kids worked soooooo hard today to get everything done before the end of the day.  I am incredibly proud of how hard the children have worked since returning back to our classroom.  We have worked hard to make sure that they were able to experience all the magic that December brings in just a few short days.  I personally think that Kindergarten ornaments are one of the best parts of the tree so we wanted to make sure that each child was able to take an ornament home today for their tree.  To cut down on the time I brought in my own laminator into our classroom to make sure that the ornaments will last for years to come. The back of the ornament has a picture of your child wearing their reindeer hat because they look so darn cute.  Miss. D also made a Christmas card with them.  Today your child took home their ornament, their card and a special gift for mom and dad.

While we waited for paint to dry (literally) we made some super cute reindeer hats.

Snack time was extra special because we had a picnic and watched some of The Grinch.

Over the last few weeks we have been busy making Christmas Cards for important people in our community that work hard to keep us safe. Today I received picture of some special nurses that we brought some holiday cheer too.  I hope that they love them as much as we enjoyed making them.  The kids absolutely LOVED seeing their cards in the hands of such important community workers.

Thank you again to all our hard working nurses.  We really appreciate you!

Today we said good bye to our fantastic Student Teacher Miss. D.  We wish her all the best and know that she is going to make an amazing teacher one day.  Thank you for all your help and smiles over the last five weeks.

Day 67

REUNITED and it feels so GOOD!!!!!  We are SOOOOOO very happy to back together as the happy kinder family that we are.  Celebrating with a crazy Christmas Day is the perfect way to spend the first day together.

Our student teachers were also excited to spend one of their last days with us.  Tomorrow we will have to say good bye to Mr. Fraser and Miss D.

You can't tell from these pictures but the kids were SOOO happy to be together.  They kept telling each other how much they loved one another and that they missed each other.  It was seriously the sweetest thing ever!

Today we finished making our Christmas cards for the hard working nurses at the hospital. After school today they were happily dropped off.  We hope that the nurses feel how much we appreciate their hard work and dedication to the community.  For all our nurse moms reading this...
THANK YOU SO MUCH WE REALLY APPRECIATE YOU!!

We LOVE this awesome shirt and wanted to share it with our blog world!  Great job Lukas. :)

This afternoon we had music with Ms. Lysak online.

We did so many different things today.  We had a number of things that needed to be finished up before the break.  The kids did a great job and we did one small task after another to catch up on things.

Today was brought to you by the number 6 and the letter Rr
