We have officially started our Second Round of Rock Star in the AM Class. This morning our Rock Star was Angus. One of his favourite traditions to do, around this time of year (beginning of December) is to go out for a walk with his dog Queen and look at all the beautiful Christmas lights around New Brighton! Pictured here is Angus and brother Griffin in these cool red and green dot lights they thought were pretty awesome.

In the afternoon our Rock Star was Krish. Krish celebrates Diwali festival. Diwali units all the family members to participate in this happiness. It is Hindus festival but Indian celebrate has become a secular festival.. children and others of all ages celebrates this festival by fire of sparklers. Diwali comes in month of October every year.

Pumpkin Jack in week 5 is looking kinda white. The kids are always so excited to check out Jack on Mondays to see how much he has changed over the weekend.

This week we are learning about the letter Ee. E is for EXCITED!!! What are you excited about? This was our journal topic for today. Can you tell that we focused on backgrounds? We want to make sure that each picture tells a story. This includes the background. Our backgrounds give the extra details that we need to make our story interesting.

UPCOMING FUN

Our Healthy Hunger is now closed but our Polar Express Kindergarten fun day is almost here. On Friday ALL Kindergarten students will arrive at the gym doors and be dismissed from the gym doors. We will watch the Polar Express and have some cookies thanks to Healthy Hunger, make some art projects and play in the gym and sing some Christmas Songs. On Friday we will celebrate with a PJ Day to match our special movie and art activities.
