This morning our Rock Star was Ryan. Ryan loves playing with his Mario Legos! He has been slowly building up his collection and loves showing his builds off to his family!
In the afternoon our Rock Star was Owen. Owen shared with us lots of cool creations that he made with LEGO. He made Mindcraft things too. He also shared a picture that he made. Owen says he wants to be a fitness trainer when he's older and he described what his studio would look like.
One of the things we have been working on in Kindergarten is the difference between a question and a statement. During our Rock Star presentation, we have been practicing asking our Rock Star special questions starting with the word WHAT. Our Rock Stars have been excellent at answering the questions. GREAT JOB ROCK STARS!! If you haven't gone into Google Classroom to upload your child's first Rock Star picture we are almost done with our first round. We read the story Edward the Emu. In the story Edward was tired of being an Emu so he decided to go around the zoo and become different animals in the zoo. We did a journal page of what our favourite animal was that Edward became. This is TOP SECRET though because it will go home next week in a special package just before Conferences.
