This morning our Rock Star was Lexi. Lexi is passionate about animals. Especially her pet Rainbow. He is a Skinny Guinea Pig. He won't ever grow hair on his body. He has some whiskers and hair on his feet for extra protection where the skin is sensitive. Lexi takes care of him, feeds him daily, plays with him, bathes him, etc. He's about 10 months old. Lexi loves him

In the afternoon we celebrated Krish.  Happy Birthday Krish!!!  We are so happy to spend your special day with you.

Over lunch hour one of Mrs. Hughes butterflies came out and the PM kiddo's got to see the entire process.  It was SUPER COOL!!

Today we learned the difference between 2D and 3D shapes.  Ask your child to explain to you the difference.  We went on a shape hunt around our classroom.  We had to search EXTRA hard to find any triangles.

Baby Photos 

We need a baby photo of each student for our Graduation Slideshow!  Please drop a picture of your child as a baby in the Google Classroom folder labelled "Baby Photos". The deadline to get this in the slideshow will be June 10.

* Where has the year gone? I can hardly believe that we are about to enter the last school month of the year.   We will be celebrating the year and these kinders moving up to Grade 1 on June 16th in the gym, I hope to see you there! Grandparents and/or siblings are welcome to attend.

Our Last Full Week of School will have a fun activity/celebration that is unique to each day.  You can dress up to help us celebrate as we complete our first year of school.
