This morning our Rock Star was Ethan. They make Grandmas shortbread every year with our cousins. They get to make a special creation with the end of the dough for our Santa cookies. They then leave this cookies out for Santa on Christmas Eve with Milk.
This afternoon our Rock Star was Harrison. They like to go for Christmas brunch at Heritage Park. They also love to have baked French toast Christmas morning and Nalysnyky for Christmas dinner. Harrison said they are both sooooooooo yummy!!!!!!
In math we learned about representing the number 9.
Today we learned all about measurement, bigger and smaller. We started the day with a full snowman man and we measured the snowman using blocks. We made our own predictions to see how small the snowman might get after a few hours. Throughout the day we checked in on the snowman and really enjoyed watching it melt. The blocks the children are holding represents their own prediction on how small they thought the snowman would be at the end of class.
