In the morning our Rock Star was Jayeh. His family makes and eats dumplings on New Year’s day. Last year, they made dumplings with his friends. It was so exciting dumpling called “mandu” and rice cake soup called “ dduk-guk” in korean. In Korea, it is traditional to eat dumplings and rice cakes soup on New Year’s day. My gramma said, when I eat the soup, it means I am getting healthier and bigger.

In the afternoon we didn't have a Rock Star because we ran out of friends to share. Friendly reminder to complete the Rock Star information in our google classroom. The next round will be coming out shortly as well.
We spent the day finishing up our TOP SECRET activity. I have pictures but I won't share with you until Feb 10. :)
