Every day your child reads our welcome message. We are learning to read the days of the week and the sight word 'is'. We are also learning to answer 'what' questions.
In our journal, we are learning to draw a person and colour them appropriately. Today we copied the sentence starter, 'I like' from the board and then we did our best kid writing to write our favourite colour. Our job was to colour our person with the same colour that we wrote about.
Our PM friends got to FINALLY go to the library!!!! We learned the proper way to take out a book, how to put back our book if we don't want it, how to sign out the book, and how to look at our book while we wait for the rest of our friends. We will have library every Tuesday. As long as your child returns their book on or before Tuesday they will get a new book each week. If your child brings their book back early I have a special home for the book to go to stay safe. AM Crew you get your first library on Thursday.
Just a friendly reminder that tomorrow is COLOUR DAY! Don't forget to come dressed in your favourite colour for some fun math games and learning.
