We learned all about the letter Ii today! We want to be able to identify the letter, make the sound/s/, print the letter (uppercase and lowercase), identify and come up with words that begin with the letter.
We took advantage of this beautiful weather with some outdoor play and playground time.
Wednesday: AM students can purchase books. If you choose to purchase, send $ in a ziplock or envelope with your child's name on it

Top Banana/Rockstar
In the coming weeks, we will complete our first round of Top Banana/Rockstar and start our next rotation. This is an opportunity for your child to be the classroom special helper as well as show and tell presenter! A new name will be drawn each day until each child has a chance.
In Kindergarten, students have been getting to know others. We are exploring how individual characteristics, talents and interests make us unique. Our Top Banana/Rockstar is invited to share one item from home that represents a favourite activity, interest or hobby.
Some ideas include:
A photo of an art piece made by your child
A photo of a favourite book
A photo of a lego creation or favourite toy
A photo of ballet shoes, hockey puck, soccer ball, skipping rope etc.
A photo of your child doing their favourite activity or hobby
Please email your child's teacher with the subject "(Child Name) Top Banana/Rockstar "
Attach a photo of their sharing item
