This morning our Rock Star was Nolan. This is what he shared about his favourite place:
My favourite place in nature is anywhere we can go camping. Sometimes we camp in the mountains, sometimes we camp by the beach. Sometimes we camp close to home, other times we go to B.C..
It is my favourite because camping lets us do so many different activities in the fresh air! We go swimming and collect rocks at the beach, or get boat rides with our friend Captain Paul. We like to relax in our camp chairs and roast marshmallows at the fire. If we are lucky, there is a store with ice cream!
Sometimes we go camping with our cousins in in the mountains in B.C. and bring our bouncy house to play in. It is so much fun to play with my brother, our cousins and new friends we meet. One camping trip, we made friends with the neighbours in the next site and they let us ride on their quads in the dirt!

Today in PE we went outside to learn compound games with Mrs. Shaw. Ask your child what they loved the most about the compound games.
We are loving our small group work with our friends at the teacher table. This week we are learning about our magic tracking finger and how we are able to read when we track with our fingers.
In math, we learned a new dice game. We each get two dice and we roll them. First, we have to count our dots to see how many dots we rolled then we compare it to our friend's number. Whoever has the highest number wins that round!
