Today we wore Orange to share our support for reconciliation. We learned a little about how Orange Shirt Day started and why we wear it today. Ask your child what it means to wear orange on September 30. We read the story You Hold Me Up and The Sharing Circle. Our day focused on being kind to others and that we all want to feel safe and cared for at school. We had great discussions about how you can show kindness and what it means to matter.
